We will be sharing music from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Come by and take in the show then get yourself a pork chop sandwich at the Snappy Lunch before they close at 2:00 PM. May 30th through October 31st we will be at the Blue Ridge Music Center, mile marker 213 on the Blue Ridge Parkway every Wednesday from approximately 12:00-4 PM. We'll be in the breezeway at the Music Center (or the Luthier's Shop when it's cool or rainy). We share the songs of the mountains there and stories about the music of these parts. We also share other story songs that we like, usually with a bluegrass flavor. Bill built both of the instruments that we play. He's up to about 90 some guitars that he has built, so he'll be happy to answer any questions you have about intrument building. June 8th - 9th - Friday and Saturday - Houston Fest, Galax Virginia - We will be sharing music to honor the memory of Bobby Patterson on Friday, June 8th at the Rec Center on the Festival grounds from 12:00 noon to 12:40. Willard Gayheart will follow our set. Bobby had a huge impact on our Mountain Music both as a multi-intrumentalist performer, recorder of the music and keeper of the history of mountain music. His is very much missed. Bill and I will also be running an Intrument Petting Zoo at this Festival which is held in Felts Park in Galax. June 8, 2018 - Friday- Floyd Country Store Gospel Hour - 6:30-7:30 PM. We will be sharing Gospel music to begin the evening's festivities at the Floyd Country Store.
