January 26th - Life Center, Galax, VA – We'll be sharing gospel music as part of the evening service at this drug and alcohol rehab center at 5:45 PM - 7:00 PM. January 27th - Golden Living Center - an assisted living home in Galax, we'll be sharing music from 2:00 - 3:00 PM February 15th - Oddfellas Cantina, Floyd, VA – we'll be sharing music in this unique restaurant from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. This is a fun place with great food with an emphasis on buying local. For more information: www.oddfellascantina.com February 16th - First United Methodist Church, Hillsville - we will be sharing music for the first service at 8:30 AM. In Florida February 22nd - Springs of Suntree Community Center, 8300 Holiday Springs Rd, Melbourne, FL. We will be sharing music there with a show starting at 4:00 PM. First up will be Pop's Old Tyme Band for the first set, then we'll share music for about 40 minutes or so followed by light refreshments, then a jam with Pop's Old Tyme Band and others. March 17th - St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, 3803 Northeast 7th Street, Ocala, FL - We will be sharing music in the fellowship hall where Gateway to Hope Ministries runs a soup kitchen for the homeless of Ocala. March 20th - First United Methodist Church in Hillsville. We will be sharing music at the Open Bowls benefit for the food pantry and other feeding the hungry related charities in the twin counties. We'll be playing from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the church fellowship hall.
March 21st - Oddfellas Cantina, Floyd, VA – we'll be sharing music in this unique restaurant from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. This is a fun place with great food with an emphasis on buying local. April 11th and 12th - Acoustic Uprising, at the Wytheville Meeting Center near Wytheville Community College. This event is sponsored by the ACMA and includes a variety of acoustic music events including a full schedule of bands being showcased from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM on Friday the 11th and from Noon until 10:10 PM on Saturday the 12th. We will be playing from 3:30-4:00 PM on Friday the 11th. This is a wonderful way to experience the impressive variety of acoustic music talents from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The Music Center also has a terrific Roots of American Music Museum as well as a whole series of concerts all summer long. Come by and check it out! September 8th - Pickin' Porch, 620 State Street, Bristol, TN - Please note the Picken' Porch has changed locations from the Bristol Mall to State Street in downtown Bristol, TN. It has also changed from Thursday nights to Monday nights. We will be part of their Monday night show which starts at 7:00 pm. We often start the show so we won't be traveling back home too late. This new location is upstairs in the ACMA's Foundation Event Facility at 620 State Street, Briston, TN in their concert theater. It's always a good time. Hope to see you there. The show will also be broadcast live on 870 am/100.7 fm "Tri-Cities Top Gun Radio" WPWT.
