Things have been slow starting off our year this year. We have a goodly number of bookings Later on in the year with more to add, but the first few months are pretty slow. So, we'll just start with May.

May

May 14th - Saturday - Carter House, Hillsville, VA - we'll be playing from 5:00-5:50, outside as part of a musical event with the Carroll Cruisers playing on the Farmer's Market Stage behind the Carter House at 7:00 pm.

May 29th - Sunday - Big Walker Lookout - 8711 Stoney Fork Rd., Wytheville, VA 24382 - We'll be sharing music from 2:00-4:00 on the front porch of this sweet general store. You can get yourself a hot dog and ice cream, enjoy the view, and enjoy our music

The Blue Ridge Music Center will be open this year regular hours starting in May until the end of October. They'll start 4 days a week and will be open 7 days a week Memorial Day weekend. Mid-day musicians will be sharing music every day from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. This music takes place in the breezeway and is free and open to the public. Both bluegrass and oldtime music is represented. Bill and I play on Wednesdays so we'll be starting the first Wednesday in June. We'll be playing this month at the Blue Ridge Music Center, mm 213 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We share the songs of the mountains and stories about the music of these parts. We also share other story songs that we like, usually with a bluegrass flavor. Bill built both of the instruments that we play. He's up to about 100 some guitars that he has built, so he'll be happy to answer any questions you have about building. Beginning Memorial Day, there is live music in the Breezeway at this wonderful museum and concert venue. The Mid-Day music is from 12:00-4:00 each day. June 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th- Thursday - Sunday - Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival- Mountain View Park, Wind Gap, PA- we will be performing a mostly gospel music show at 12:00 noon to start the program on Sunday the 12th. This is a wonderful festival, with the lineup including Danny Paisley and Southern Grass, Smokey Green and the Boys, Valerie Smith, Mountain Highway and many more. October 1st - Saturday - Sparta, NC - We will be sharing Gospel music from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at an outdoor location between Doughton and Cheek Streets in Sparta as a warm-up for the Kruger Brothers Concert that will follow that evening. Come on out for a special Sparta evening!
